Tianneng Cooperates with the Forestry Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry

On the afternoon of November 10, 2021, Zhejiang Tianneng Resource Recycling Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Institute of Chemical Industry of Forest Products. The two companies will cooperate in the fields of activated carbon green regeneration, lead batteries, and hydrogen energy batteries to jointly develop a "Blue Ocean" for industrial development. The academician (Jianchun Jiang) of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the deputy director (Junli Liu) of the Institute of Chemical Industry of Forest Products attended the event.

"This signing ceremony is another practical measure of Tianneng's transformation. The successful signing of the project has introduced high-quality projects for us, built a solid foundation for development and accelerated the pace of industrial transformation and upgrading." Employees in charge of Tianneng Recycling Business Department said that the two companies will work together to make full use of their advantages in technology, resources, talents and other fields. Also, they would make achievements in the green regeneration of activated carbon and the creative application of new technologies for the manufacture of advanced carbon materials such as lead-carbon cells and hydrogen energy batteries.

The academician Jianchun Jiang recognized the green and sustainable development concept of "limited resources and unlimited circulation" of Tianneng. We hoped that the two companies will jointly explore, innovate and carry out project cooperation, in-depth technical research and rule formulation in the fields of activated carbon regeneration. We also hoped we will continue to deepen, expand and refine the activated carbon industry to promote the high-quality development of the lithium battery industry.

During the meeting, Jianchun Jiang, Junli Liu and other experts and scholars also discussed the technical development of Tianneng activated carbon industry and the technical route of carbon materials related to Tianneng lead cell, lithium battery and hydrogen fuel cell. Through this Industry-University-Research cooperation, Tianneng Resource Recycling Co., Ltd. will further strengthen scientific research and innovation, promote the development and application of new products, core technologies, and scientific achievements, as well as promote the industrialization of new energy batteries.

The Institute of Chemical Industry of Forest Products is a deputy director-level scientific research institution directly under the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. Its research fields include biomass energy, new biomass materials, the utilization of biomass active ingredients, and activated carbon chemistry and engineering. It is a comprehensive scientific research institution integrating basic theory, applied technology, new product development and engineering design.
