The Commercial Certification Center Members of CCPIT Visited Tianneng Group to Guide and Research

On May 27, 2021, more than 20 people including Yan Yun from the Commercial Certification Center of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Wu Jianping from the Changxing County Bureau of Commerce visited Tianneng Group. These members conducted investigations and discussions on a series of issues. Issues include the overall situation of Tianneng Group in export certification, intellectual property rights, and the use of FTA (Asean Free Trade Agreement) preferential policies. In addition, the difficulties and problems encountered in applying FTA preferential policies require services and assistance provided by government departments or trade promotion agencies.

First of all, accompanied by Shi Weiyi, the leader of the overseas business department, Director Yan and his team visited the exhibition hall of Tianneng Group with enthusiasm. During this period, he always introduced the development history of Tianneng Group, its main products and the development of Tianneng overseas.

During the discussion, Shi first introduced to Director Yan the main products, sales status, staff composition of the overseas market of Tianneng's renewable energy storage battery, and the import and export status of RCEP (ASEAN Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) member countries. Shi stated that our battery exporter already has a transportation appraisal certificate and MSDS, and some models of batteries have reached EU standards and are exported to European countries. Tianneng Battery has completed trademark registration in key strategic countries.

When answering the problems encountered by Director Yan regarding exports, Shi pointed out that the current tariffs on lead-acid batteries in ASEAN countries are generally high, and there is a certain pressure on battery exports. The development trend of Tianneng lithium batteries is good, and there is no major problem with tariffs. However, some countries still need to rely on paper seal documents to apply for certificates of origin, which poses legal risks. Director Yan gave feedback on the issues raised by Shi and said that he would communicate and coordinate with industry associations and CCPIT in a timely manner when encountering difficulties and problems. The CCPIT would make every effort to coordinate and help Tianneng's renewable energy batteries to develop better.
